YOKOHAMA BluEarth-4S AW21 available in 14 sizes

Since last year, the tire manufacturer YOKOHAMA has been offering its first all-season car tire, the BluEarth-4S AW21, certified by TÜV SÜD. So far, the tire has been available in numerous dimensions from 14 to 19 inches. Owing to its popularity, YOKOHAMA is now expanding the range by another 14 sizes. Thus, there will be 38 dimensions now and even more vehicles can be covered. The well-balanced features of BluEarth-4S AW21 allow you to benefit from small and medium-sized cars as well as modern SUVs, thanks to the wide range of sizes available: The speed index varies between 190 (T) and 270 km/h (W) depending on the size. Like all BluEarth tires, it is produced under environmentally friendly production conditions: among other things, solar energy is used.

Technically, BluEarth-4S AW21 is characterized by a special design: The tire was derived from a winter tire layout instead of a summer tire layout, unlike the industry standard. The abbreviation 4S refers to the four seasons. Accordingly, the structure of BluEarth-4S AW21 ensures safe handling and braking characteristics on wet, snowy and slippery roads. To improve water drainage and grip under poor road conditions, the BluEarth-4S AW21 has a profile of V-shaped and cross-shaped grooves. Thus, the tire easily complies with the latest legal requirements, which apply to full-fledged winter tires. Of course, the BluEarth-4S AW21 also has the ideal equipment for dry summer weather: for example, the all-season lamellas and large shoulder blocks. A silica rubber compound ensures extra grip.
